RADON Inspection
RADON is a tasteless, odorless, invisible gas that occurs naturally throughout the earth's crust. It is a by-product of the breakdown of uranium in the soil, rock and water.
Radon Inspection
All homeowners should test their homes for RADON.
Our Radon Detection Process:
- We use a 48-hour Active Continuous Radon Monitor for measurements.
- This is placed in the lowest habitable area of the home, typically a basement.
- The monitor has built-in anti-tampering devices and should not be touched.
- Normal living conditions can resume during the test.
- All doors and windows must be closed 12 hours prior to the start of the test.
- Results are available immediately at the end of the RADON test.
Our RADON Gas Test determines if your home's RADON gas exceeds action level establishment by the Enviromental Protection Agency.
